After School Program

The After School Program (ASP) at PSD strives to provide safe and structured activities that combine academic and athletic activities during after-school hours to students. The program is provided in 3 cycles throughout the school year and is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:45 p.m. The After School Program for the 2016-17 school year begins on October 4, 2016.

ASP activities may cover topics such as technology, tutoring, the arts and sports. Activities do vary from cycle to cycle depending on an interest surveyed and solicited from the students. Up to four activities are offered within one cycle. Past activities have included: Cheerleading, Soccer, Boys and Girls Basketball, Dance, Fitness Instruction, Yoga, Philly Run, Softball, Computer Lab, Board Games, Arts and Crafts, Sewing, Study Hall (as needed) and Girl Scouts. PSD provides snacks and transportation for all students involved.
