Annual Fund

PSD receives only operating support from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and must raise charitable funds to pay for the many special student programs and all CCPS services which are not funded by the State.  Each year PSD's Annual Fund must raise at least $200,000 for these vital activities which include:

• Technology (Classroom Computers, Document Projectors, and SmartBoards)
• Early Childhood Programs (early intervention, two-year-old and parent support groups)
• Classroom Enrichment Programs—nutrition/exercise, visual learning aids, field trips (including transportation)
• After School Programs (athletics, arts and drama, life skills)
• All CCPS Services for Deaf adults
