The PSD Sports Hall of Fame Revived!

After and eleven year hiatus, PSD Alumni Committee members, former Coaches, and PSD's current Athletic Department felt enough time had passed and that the Hall of Fame tradition needed to begin again.  Combining votes from the last election with input from former Coaches, seven honorees were chosen.  The outstanding athletes and coaches include: Corbett T. Arnold: 1918-23 Coach; Barbara Beck Johnston: 1953-57 Field Hockey, basketball, & Softball Athlete; Tadeusz S. Gut: 1962-66 Football, Basketball & Baseball Athlete;  Nancy Tomar Westenberger: 1963-67 Athlete in all sports, 1972-84 Coach; Marie Alioto O'Doherty: 1967-71 Field Hockey, Basketball & Softball Athlete; Robert Dey: 1975-78 Football, Basketball, & Track Athlete; Jonathan Davis: 1976-79 Football, Basketball, Baseball & Track Athlete.  A banquet is planned for the fall of 2010 when the 2009 inductees and new 2010 member will be feted.
