After School Program

After School Program (ASP) at PSD strives to provide safe and structured activities that combine academic and athletic activities during after school hours to students in 4^th - 6^th grade. The program is provided in 3 cycles throughout the school year and is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:45 p.m.

ASP activities may cover topics such as technology, tutoring, the arts and sports.  Activities do vary from cycle to cycle depending on an interest survey solicited from the students.  Up to four activities are offered within one cycle. Activities include: Cheerleading, Soccer, Boys and Girls Basketball, Dance, Fitness Instruction, Yoga, Philly Run, Softball, Computer Lab, Board Games, Arts and Crafts, Sewing, Study Hall (as needed) and Girl Scouts. PSD provides snacks and transportation for all students involved.

Our goal is to provide our students with an opportunity to develop strong and healthy social skills in a fun, recreational/enriching environment.

The After School Program cycles for the 2012-13 school year are:

1- Sept. 25th - Nov. 9th

• Co-ed Soccer

2- Nov. 27th - Jan. 31st

• Girls Basketball
• Boys Basketball
• Cheerleading

3- March 5th - May 16th

• Track
