Programs for Deaf Adults
Adult Programs at CCPS
Adult Literacy Program
Funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, these
classes help deaf adults improve their basic reading and
writing skills. Teachers are fluent in American Sign
Language (ASL) and morning, afternoon, and evening classes
are available. Classes to assist Deaf Community members with
the written part of the Pennsylvania Driver's License
examination are also offered.
Driver's Education

These specialized sessions help prepare deaf adults to take the computer portion
of the State Driver's Exam. All classes are taught in American Sign
Language.
