Adult Programs at CCPS

 

Adult Literacy Program

Adult Literacy students and instructors

Funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, these classes help deaf adults improve their basic reading and writing skills. Teachers are fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and morning, afternoon, and evening classes are available.  Classes to assist Deaf Community members with the written part of the Pennsylvania Driver's License examination are also offered.

 

Driver's Education

Driver's Eduction students and instructor

These specialized sessions help prepare deaf adults to take the computer portion of the State Driver's Exam.  All classes are taught in American Sign Language.
